N and O are for, "New followers! Oh hey."

So I've noticed some new faces on the old blogaroo and I wanted to get to know you (or old followers) a smidgen better. If you wouldn't mind, answer a few questions for me?

1. What's the last book you read?

2. What time zone do you hail from? (I would just say, "Hometown," but I don't want to be a creeper.)

3. Guilty pleasure movie?

4. Are you also obsessed with Miranda Lambert's song "Mama's Broken Heart"? Oh, no? Welp, which song are you currently obsessed with?

5. Any other information you'd like to share?

  1. I'm an old follower, so my answers may be less exciting.

    1. "Lean In," by Sheryl Sandberg (because I'm a fellow lawyer-lady, not a fellow writer-lady)

    2. Mountain Standard Time (Hometown: New Denver)

    3. I don't really feel that guilty about it, but I've watched Pitch Perfect about 17 times.

    4. And have obsessively listened to the soundtrack for the above movie at least 50 times... I feel a little more guilty about that.

    1. Hey lawyer-lady friend! Oh man, I hear you on Pitch Perfect. Love it so much.

  2. Old follower too but still fun.

    1. Les mis (this makes me sound cool, but I've put it off for like 8 years, so less cool that I'm finally getting around to it)
    2. MST Currently, but we're military, so I'll be back to EST when my hubby gets back from a deployment
    3. Ever After. Its completely awful. And I don't care.
    4. Obsessed? Savior Redeemer of My Soul.
    5. Yeeaaah I want to shout out to the girl above me on her pitch perfect obsession. I listen to that 5 minute freaking soundtrack from Colorado Springs to Beaver UT without even noticing. So Sad. I love that movie like I used to love Easy A.

    1. Oh man, I LOVE Ever After. I don't even care if Drew Barrymore isn't really doing an accent in it. LOVE. IT.

  3. Oh! Good day to stop in. Hi! I love the blog title, and aren't you a funny one?

    1. I'm constantly reading about 8 different ones, but if we're going for finished... I guess it was Cinder.
    2. I'm an eastern-time Floridian, or so says the tan and thin blood. =)
    3. Guilty pleasure movie? I go for cheese. Love at First Bite.
    4. Song obsession, huh? Truth? I tend to steer clear of most music, but I absolutely adore The Piano Guys and Two Steps from Hell for their amazing scores.
    5. Cheese is the best food on the planet. =D

    1. Thanks! Nice to meet you, I'll go check out your blog :) I've never head of Love at First Bite, I'll have to assess that situation.

  4. 1. "The 12 Tribes of Hattie"
    2. Mountain
    3. Pride and Prejudice. The one with Kiera Knightley. AND.... My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I hate when someone says they like My big Fat Greek Wedding. But I own it and watch it and laugh at it at least once a month.
    4. go an' HIDE YOUR CRAZY and start ACTIN LIKE A LADY. Check out The Pistol Annies. It's Miranda Lambert and 2 other girls just like her.

    1. KEEP IT TOGETHER! Oh man, I love that song. I will have to check out that book and that band :)

  5. A proud old follower here.
    1) "A Good Walk Spoiled" - I can't help it; I love golf!
    2) Mountain - a born and raised Utard haha
    3) "Return to Me" - because even guys need a sappy romance movie on the shelf
    4) Honestly, that Miranda Lambert song is one of my least-liked by her. But I'm totally crushing on Fun.'s "Carry on" - developing mid-life crisis?
    5) I was just cast in the 3rd play of my life, and I may end up dyeing my hair red for the role... so that'll be different.

    1. MID-LIFE CRISIS! Just kidding, I used to really enjoy fun. Now they make me want to tear out my own car speakers, but what are you going to do?

Red hair? That's pretty cray. Post pictures if you do!

  6. New follower here.

    1. Nice to meet you! I love Gary Allen, excellent choice :)

  7. Old blurker here . . . going "on radar" is a bit strange.

    1. Last read: Extra Virginity: The Sublime and Scandalous World of Olive Oil (and you thought it was one of those books!). Currently reading The Mysterious Benedict Society (Book Club #1's choice for April), The War Brides (Book Club #2's choice for April), and Gooseberry Bluff Community College of Magic: The Thirteenth Rib (serialized novel, comes in installments).
