Life lessons

Isn't it fun when you learn a life lesson in the 21st century, and your first instinct is to share it on the internet?

Here's a life lesson for ya, and not the one I learned today:

Don't share life lessons on the internet. Particularly if they involve the internet.

No one wants to hear that nonsense.

  1. Hmmm....this is rather cryptic...care to be more specific so us folks feeling like we are guilty of aforementioned crime can know if we truly are or not?

    1. Hahaha, no, you're not guilty of this. Really, I just made a mistake I've made a few times before, and self-preservation requires that I keep the details to myself :)

    2. Whew. I can breathe again:-) (I really wanted to refrain from the internet sideways smiley face there, but could think of no way to properly convey my tone other than the sideways smiley...so you got it.

  2. I really wanted "involve" to be a hyperlink to some cringe-worthy internet-related life lesson confession ... but was disappointed.

  4. This is why I deleted my Facebook; I'm tired of seeing everyone else's life lessons learned (or unlearned). And I've since learned to keep my own mouth (mostly) shut. (I caught a typo and had to fix it!)

  5. Spot on. The Internet is a crazy place at times. I was trying to get Dramatica Pro (for free off of a torrent) and save myself a couple of hundred bucks.

I finally got it downloaded only to have my antivirus warn me that there were 2 viruses that, as I later ascertained via the net, were ones hackers use to take over your computer and use it as a bot.

Sheesh, can't a guy just have fun?
