Passive voice

It really comes in handy sometimes.

Like when you're apologizing about lying about people being beheaded in the Arizona desert.

"I'm sorry if people were misled."

And you're golden.

  1. Every time I have good cause to use passive voice for some pretend law school thing, I feel deliciously evil. I don't know if it's because I enjoy thwarting years of English teachers or if its just passive aggressively enjoyable.
